Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Jasmine Perry!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Vivid!'

We remember, and say the name...

...Jasmine Perry!

Jasmine has traveled to

many world ballet centers to collaborate

and display her well-known Ballet skills.

Many are surprised by her 'connectedness'

and fluidity of motion. Jasmine is also

'doing her thing' on the east and west

coasts! Her movements make me feel

more powerful just by watching!

Jasmine also happens to have a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "Curvilinear!"

Black Ballet History Month was

founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate,

and honor, with deep pride, the

countless Black Men, Women,

and Organizations who

tirelessly gave, and are giving, their

time, talent, and physical treasure to

exquisitely create, interpret, and put

on historical and memorable

Professional Ballet Productions the

World over and to teach and mentor

upcoming generations of performers!

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Dwight Rhodan!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Fantastic!'

We now remember, and say the name...

...Dwight Rhodan!

Dwight's rise to his zenith can only be

described as 'meteoric!' Of course he

began dancing at 17, studying at

Dayton Contemporary Dance

Company! He quickly made Principal

at Alvin Ailey American Dance

Theater. Media Producers constantly

hound him to appear in their Films,

TV Specials, Commercials, and

Documentaries! It seems that he has

worked with everyone who was

anyone. Creating and choreographing

more than 80 Ballet Works...what else

can be said!

"He's Dynamite!"

Dwight has a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Claudia Monja!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So High Powered!'

We remember, and say the name...

...Claudia Monja!

Claudia is extra-supple and extra-articulate

and extra-technical...and...extra-attractive!

She doesn't even have to stand in line at

exclusive restaurants, she's so popular!

Speaking of nourishment, Claudia is good

for the sight...and good for the soul! And

the next time she's in town, I'm front

row center!

"She's The Best Ticket In Town!"

Claudia has a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "The Sun!"

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Amanda Morgan!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Far Away!'

We now remember, and say the name...

...Amanda Morgan!

Amanda is making great news all over the

place! She studied hard at DT Northwest

and NWBallet School, doing year rounds

and summer intensives at Boston Ballet

and especially Alonzo King LINES Ballet.

Amanda then joined Pacific North West

Ballet and quickly rose to prominence

as the First Black Soloist there. But she

is making an even greater impact

choreographing at Film Festivals, and

featuring her own films at the Northwest

Film Forum. Thank her for the birthing

of the Velocity Dance Center. Amanda

also created the very popular Seattle

Project, which premieres up and coming

controversial filmmakers!

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Geoffrey Holder!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So 'The Hottest Ticket In Town!''

We remember, and say the name...

...Geoffrey Holder!

First, this Man, a strong 'Lover-of-Life,' who was

also very good at dancing and acting and singing,

was many parts a brilliant Showman! We knew

this and he always satiated our deep-throated

entertainment appetites! Each of his big-stage

performances started out with great airs of

anticipation, like the audience members couldn't

believe it, and that they were the luckiest people

in the world, because they were going to see

the 'Great One,' live...right now, to give them

more than their money's worth!

Some observers still can recount, with

amazement, what they witnessed first hand!

"You Got People Still Talkin'!"

Geoffrey also happens to have a...'Huge'...mid-upper-lip

called "Look!"
