Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Nayara Lopes!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Emblematic !'

We now remember, and say the name...

...Nayara Lopes!

This 'Big and Bad' Philadelphia Principal

Danseuse knows how to push all the right

buttons, and say all the right things, and

do all the right moves...exquisitely...

there's no stopping her inertia! Just

remember...you're not supposed to stand,

shout, and scream, "Woo Hoo!"...when

she excels On Stage! Save that for

when you watch her on your phone!

"Mothers Would Love To See Their Sons

Bring Her Home To Greet Them!"

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Naazir Muhammad!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

is 'So Right Now!'

We now remember, and say the name...

...Naazir Muhammad!

Here Naazir comes! Please step to the

side and give him room! Too bad

they don't serve popcorn at Ballets!

He has everyone talking, except

while he performs...then patrons

just watch with dropped jaws!

After starting at the age of six,

he trained at many places, including

the Brooklyn Ballet School, but now

he performs with an 'artistic

madness' at Houston Ballet!

"He's a National Treasure!"

Naazir also happens to have a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "Silk!"

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Madison Brown!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Refreshing!'

We remember, and say the name...

...Madison Brown!

After seeing her perform, all I can do is

shake my head sideways and mumble

in support! Her bold techniques are

daring and audacious!...Yes!...She

gives us a full Main Course...with

Various and Delicious Desserts!...

...Oh...and her chocolate-dipped

fouettés...are to die for! Plus, Madison's

leg-raising Grande Battements prove

that she indeed is 'double-jointed!'

I grab my chair arms in disbelief!

"You Cannot 'Out-Ballet' Her!"
