and elevate it more! And her countenance 

has 'Hollywood' and ''Own Make Up 

Brand' and more, written all over it! It's 

easy to play her videos and put them on 

repeat, it's so entertaining! She can sing 

too?...OMGosh!...As a performer, she's 

unparalleled...As a seasoned 

choreographer, she will be peerless!

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Antonio Douthit-Boyd!

 

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

is 'So Spring Time!'



We now remember, and say the name...

...Antonio Douthit-Boyd!



Antonio started training at sixteen at the 

Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, then 

moved on to Alvin Ailey American 

Dance Theater, and several other places, 

including the Alexandria School, The 

Joffrey, San Francisco, and the Dance 

Theatre of Harlem. He returned to, 

and is currently the Artistic Director, 

for COCA, St Louis! 



"Right On, Sir!"!

Black Ballet History Month!...Phenom Of The Week!...Jacqueline Green!

 


Yes!...Black Ballet History... 

...is 'So Earth-Shaking!'


We remember, and say the name...



...Jacqueline Green



Jacquelin, starting her profession at 13 in 

Baltimore, and displaying exceptional 

talent, she was destined to make it to 

the Top! She credits the instruction at 

Ailey Dance Theater for much of 

her success! 



"I say, "Wow!""




Jacqueline also happens to have a mid-upper-lip

called "Waves!"

Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Aminah L. Ahmad!

 


Yes!...Black Ballet History... 

...is 'So OMGosh!'


We remember, and say the name...



...Aminah L. Ahmad!


Aminah got her 'Stars and Stripes' the ol' 

fashioned way...she earned them! She 

also possesses the very rare bragging 

rights to being one of the Founding 

Members and Principal Dancers of the 

Dance Theatre of Harlem! After 

refusing an early recommendation to 

'switch out of Ballet,' she put on her 

seat belts and drove nonstop to be the 

best! After her auditions improved 

with every try, Radio City Music Hall 

Ballet Company quickly snatched her 

up and made original roles for her! 

Aminah is also credited with introducing 

to the world of Ballet legging tights that 

matched closer to her own African

skin colour!



"Your Performances are Addictive!"
