Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Aesha Ash!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

...is 'So Spectacular!'

We remember, and say the name...

...Aesha Ash!

Aesha started dancing at the age of 5,

and just blossomed from there! She

worked at Bejart Ballet, Alonzo

King LINES Ballet Co, and

Morphemes/The Wheeldon Co.

She is now the First Black Female

Faculty Member at the

School of American Ballet! And boy...

...is she rockin' it!

"Get It, Girl!"

Aesha also happens to have a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "Elegance!"

Black Ballet History Month,

celebrated each year in August, was

founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate,

and honor, with deep pride, the

countless Black Men, Women,

and Organizations who

tirelessly gave, and are giving, their

time, talent, and physical treasure to

exquisitely create, interpret, and put

on historical and memorable

Professional Ballet Productions the

World over and to teach and mentor

upcoming generations of performers!

The Founder of Black Ballet History Month,

Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.,

is also a Classical Ballet enthusiast,

USC Dental School Graduate,

and elucidator of elatus labialis wingeulus.
