Black Ballet History Month!...Balletist Of The Week!...Cira Robinson!

Yes!...Black Ballet History...

is 'So Notable!'

We remember, and say the name...

...Cira Robinson!

It's best to take a seat before Cira floors

you! This internationally-performing

young lady recently performed in

front of 100,000 fans at a Stormzy

concert! And she was on the TV Series

Bridgerton! She, of course, learned

the ropes growing up with Arthur

Mitchell at DT Harlem and eventually

ended up at Ballet Black in London.

Cira has done tons of Ballet galas, and

has even won Awards and special

recognitions. Creating the 'Ballet Brown'

and 'Ballet Bronze' point-shoes for

Blacks, Asians, and Mixed-Race dancers...

...available now...are just more rungs

on her 'Ladder of Ascension!'

"Don't Stop!...We Want More!"

Cira also happens to have a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "Summertime!"

Black Ballet History Month,

celebrated each year in August, was

founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate,

and honor, with deep pride, the

countless Black Men, Women,

and Organizations who

tirelessly gave, and are giving, their

time, talent, and physical treasure to

exquisitely create, interpret, and put

on historical and memorable

Professional Ballet Productions the

World over and to teach and mentor

upcoming generations of performers!

The Founder of Black Ballet History Month,

Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.,

is also a Classical Ballet enthusiast,

USC Dental School Graduate,

and elucidator of elatus labialis wingeulus.

If you know a Ballet Practitioner who should be included here,
